YOM builds the fastest and most affordable GPU edge infrastructure: a decentralized network that turns the gaming PCs people already own into a global compute grid. Cloud gaming is the first workload, chosen deliberately because real-time game streaming is the hardest thing you can ask a network to do. Prove it there and everything else follows.
For players, that means clicking a link and playing AAA games in your browser within seconds. Nothing to download, nothing to install.
For operators, it means earning $YOM by hosting players on your gaming PC when you’re not using it.
the two sides of the network
YOM is a two-sided marketplace.
Players are the demand side. They click a game and stream it from the nearest available node. The infrastructure stays invisible; the game simply runs in the browser.
Operators are the supply side. They run a YOM node, typically a YOM NANO plug-and-play device or a qualifying gaming PC. When a player nearby starts a game, the operator’s node hosts the stream. The operator earns $YOM proportional to the time their node is active and the load it carries.
The more operators online, the better the player experience. The more players online, the more operators earn. That’s the flywheel, and you’re free to participate on either side, or both.

Right now the player side runs on demos: a handful of titles streamable from the browser at yom.net/demo and the games pages. This is the proving ground where the network shows its latency numbers on real sessions.
The full consumer experience is being built as walter.gg, a cloud gaming aggregator on top of the YOM network. Walter curates a real game library, handles the install, the patches, and the rig, and streams straight to whatever screen is closest. It’s in free beta while the library grows. If you’re here as a player rather than an operator, walter.gg is where the games will live.
what makes YOM different
Traditional cloud gaming services (GeForce Now, Xbox Cloud, Luna) work, but they all share the same architecture: huge data centers, expensive to build, far away from players. That distance is what causes lag in cloud games.
YOM moves the GPU closer to the player. Nodes run on consumer hardware at the network edge, sometimes in the same city as the player, often in the same neighborhood. Latency drops to numbers a distant data center can’t reach without 10x the cost.
The same network that streams games can serve other real-time GPU work: enterprise interactive 3D already runs on it, and low-latency AI inference is built into the roadmap. Gaming proves the hardest case first.
The decentralization is technical, not philosophical. We pick edge over data centers because it works better, not because of any ideology.
getting onto the network
There are three common starting points, depending on what you want to do.
- If you want to play a game right now, visit yom.net/demo. A few titles are streamable from the browser today, and walter.gg is where the full library is taking shape.
